Rise Together - Our global women’s leadership acceleration program

We advance women in leadership and create the conditions for them to thrive.​

Rise Together is our six-month leadership acceleration program designed to advance women in leadership while driving systemic change across the organization.​

The program places women at the center while engaging sponsors, line managers, and HR Business Partners to create a strong ecosystem of support. Participants take part in Discovery Labs, sponsorship circles, and leadership conversations that explore topics such as leading with identity, influencing with integrity, and transitioning from performer to strategist.​

Each month focuses on building confidence, strengthening advocacy, and connecting personal leadership growth with our core values.​

To sustain the momentum beyond the program,our Rise Together Alumni connects former participants, strengthening connections, increasing visibility, and fostering ongoing leadership development.​

Our Employee Resource Groups play a vital role in strengthening Inclusion & Belonging at dsm-firmenich. Through dialogue, community-building, and impactful initiatives, our ERGs help amplify voices, foster belonging, and bring people together to go beyond - supporting our culture, our teams, and our shared ambition to bring progress to life.

Allyship program​

We empower our people to actively support inclusion and stand up for one another.​

Our Allyship Program is a learning journey designed to help build a culture where every voice is valued and inclusion is lived every day.​

Developed in collaboration without Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), this program equips employees to recognize bias, advocate for equity, and actively support colleagues from underrepresented groups.​

Through interactive learning modules, storytelling, and practical tools, participants learn how to translate good intentions into everyday behaviors that strengthen trust and inclusion across teams.​

Women's health & well-being: Inclusive workplace practices

We recognize that supporting women’s health is essential to building a truly inclusive workplace. Our Women’s Health & Well-being practices are designed to address the unique needs of our colleagues, reduce stigma, and encourage open conversations around women’s health.​

Our initiatives include:​

  • Physical accommodations, including Wellness Rooms — quiet, temperature-regulated spaces where colleagues can recharge and manage symptoms in privacy​
  • Free sanitary products available across our locations​
  • Flexible ways of working to support different health needs and life stages​
  • Health and well-being resources, including educational materials and specialized information on topics such as menopause​
