At dsm-firmenich, we believe in celebrating excellence. Our Kudos Awards program empowers everyone to recognize colleagues who embody our values and go above and beyond. It's a peer-to-peer initiative that's already making waves, with 7% of our people receiving recognition in just the first three months.
We caught up with one of our award recipients, Lenneke Loman, to learn more about the program and its impact.
Hi Lenneke! First things first, what’s your role within dsm-firmenich?
I work in Digital & Tech. I’m currently Cluster Lead for Customer & Consumer.
Congratulations for receiving one of our Kudos Awards. What was it for?
Actually, I have received two! The first came soon after the merger when I was recognized for the vital contribution I made to a taskforce redefining ways of working within the Digital & Tech organization. It was an initiative aimed at delivering faster, higher-quality digital solutions to customers and colleagues.
And your second award?
It was in recognition of the genuine care I show for colleagues and my dedication to achieving better results together. The job I do presents exciting challenges that require critical thinking, but it's the human connection that makes it truly special.
What impact do you see the Kudos program having on the organization?
Getting appreciation from peers or team members is naturally special... but perhaps even more special is to give. To see the surprise and smiles of my colleagues receiving the kudo is really heartwarming.
